Disclosed is a secondary battery comprising: a stacked electrode assembly comprising a plurality of unit cells stacked in a first direction and having electrode leads at both ends thereof in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a multifunctional terminal block (MTB) at at least one end of the stacked electrode assembly; and a laminate sheet surrounding the side surface of the stacked electrode assembly to define a cell inner space.
