"textContent": "A drive control apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The apparatus, in which a pair of left and right driving wheels are driven independently of each other, is capable of evaluating whether drive force failure has occurred in one drive system. In the drive control apparatus for a vehicle according to the invention, a drive force failure evaluation means ( FIG. 2 ) evaluates that drive force failure has occurred in a left drive system when (drive system differential rotation N) produced between a rotation speed on the side where a left drive means (left motor/generator) (2A), which drives a left driving wheel RL, operates (drive source rotation speed N2) and a rotation speed on the side where the left driving wheel RL rotates (driving wheel rotation speed N1) is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold TH, and evaluates that drive force failure has occurred in a right drive system when a difference in rotation speed (drive system differential rotation N) produced between a rotation speed on the side where a right drive means (right motor/generator) (2B), which drives a right driving wheel RR, operates (drive source rotation speed N2) and a rotation speed on the side where the right driving wheel RR rotates (driving wheel rotation speed N1) is greater than or equal to the threshold TH.",
