A turbocharger silencer (30) that is installed at the upstream side of an inlet of an intake-air introducing path for introducing intake air and that absorbs noise is provided with an intake-air inlet opening (32) formed at an outer circumferential surface of a casing (31) that has a substantially cylindrical shape; an intake-air channel that guides the intake air to the intake-air introducing path by changing the flow direction of the intake air by substantially 90°; an intake-air outlet opening (34) formed at one end surface of the casing (31); a sound-absorbing pipe (40) that is inserted into and installed in the intake-air inlet opening (32) from the outer-circumference side of the casing; an air hole (51) that is substantially coaxial with the sound-absorbing pipe (40); and a support plate (50) that secures and supports the sound-absorbing pipe (40) inserted at a predetermined position of the intake-air inlet opening (32).
