The eddy current coupler (24) is disposed to electromagnetically couple the propeller (14) to the engine shaft (20) when the clutch (24) mechanically decouples the propeller (14) from the engine shaft (20). The electromagnetic brake (26) is disposed to artificially load the engine shaft (20) when the propeller load on the engine shaft (20) is reduced by mechanically decoupling the propeller from the engine shaft (20).",
