Thrust vectoring device and aircraft engine comprising the same

Disclosed is a thrust deflection device for deflecting a thrust jet with a flap arrangement having a plurality of deflection flaps, each of which is pivotable about its vertical axis, wherein the flap arrangement is arranged between parallel guide surfaces which together with the flap arrangement form a box structure that is pivotable about a pivot axis extending in the direction of the transverse axis for deflecting the thrust jet in the pitch direction, as well as an aircraft engine.
