Connecting rod between two movable members

The invention relates to a connecting rod (B) between two mobile members movable relative to each other, in particular between a powerplant group and a body of a motor vehicle, this connecting rod comprising a body (1) presenting a recess in which is arranged an articulation insert (4) connected to said body by at least one elastic link (2,3), the body being provided with a first housing (13) for receiving a fastening device (6) intended to be secured to one of the mobile members, and the insert (4) being provided with a second housing (48) for receiving another fastening device intended to be secured to the second mobile member. The insert (4) presents a structure capable of progressively breaking upon application of a compression force to the connecting rod leading to a bringing together of the two housings (48,13) before possible breaking of the body.
