The invention relates to a device (1) for maintenance of a catenary contact wire (10), comprising: - a frame (20) defining a passage for a contact wire (10); - connection means on a contact wire (10) received in the passage, the connection means being intended to allow the device (1) to move along the contact wire (10), the connection means being carried by the frame (20) and comprising rolling members (41) on the contact wire (10) received in the passage and on which the device (1) is suspended.
