The present invention relates to a device for equalizing the temperature distribution in a closed cargo hold (35) of a motor or transport vehicle (31), which is used for the transport of goods that are to be or must be transported in a freely selectable and/or predetermined constant temperature range, which comprises a maximum range of essentially +2°C to +30°C. It is characterized in that it has the form of a wheel arch covering (1) for a wheel arch located in the cargo hold (35) of the motor or transport vehicle (31), which has a side wall (3), an upper cover wall (5), a front end wall (7) and a rear end wall (9), at least one air inlet opening (11) and at least one air outlet opening (15), and at least one fan or blower (17), which is located in or on the air outlet opening (15) and serves for the circulation of air in the cargo hold.
