Method for approaching a platform

A method comprising a development phase for developing an approach trajectory (25) towards a theoretical position (20') of a platform (20). During a consolidation phase, the current position (20") of said platform (20) is determined, and an alert is triggered when the distance (D1) separating said theoretical position (20') from said current position (20") is greater than a first threshold. During a securing phase, objects equipped with an automatic identification system that are present in a predetermined surveillance zone (OCZ) are monitored, and a horizontal representation of said approach trajectory (25) is displayed on a visualization screen (8), as well as for each object: its current position (41), the direction (42) of movement, and the level (43) of danger.
