  "textContent": "A vehicle control device that is applied to a vehicle having a driving source (1) for generating a driving force for the vehicle, a driving mechanism for transmitting the driving force of the driving source to a plurality of wheels, a braking mechanism having an electronic parking brake (12, 13) for generating a parking brake force for at least one (RR, RL) of the plurality of wheels (FR-RL), and a coupling state control mechanism (6, 7, 10, 10a) for controlling state of coupling of the plurality of wheels (FR-RL), the vehicle control device comprising: a fastened state control means (3) that controls the state of coupling of the plurality of wheels (FR-RL) by controlling the coupling state control mechanism (6, 7, 10, 10a); and a lock stuck state determination means (200-230, 500-530) that determines whether the electronic parking brake (12, 13) is in a lock stuck state in which the parking brake force cannot be canceled; wherein the fastened state control means (3) includes a stuck state special control means (340, 640) that, when the lock stuck state determination means (200-230, 500-530) determines that at least one of the plurality of wheels (FR-RL) is in the lock stuck state, exercises stuck state special control to loosen or cancel state of coupling between a wheel determined to be in the lock stuck state and a wheel determined to be not in the lock stuck state.",
