The dump vehicle according to the invention comprises a chassis, a chassis frame supported on the chassis, and a loading container held on the chassis frame. The loading container is held on the chassis frame by a tipping mechanism that includes a first tipping axis for raising the rear end of the loading container and a second tipping axis for raising a front end of the loading container and simultaneously lowering the rear end. The tipping mechanism provides a first frame part and a second frame part, which are articulated to one another via a first tipping joint. The first frame part is furthermore pivotably held on the chassis frame about a second tipping joint, while the loading container is attached to the second frame part.
