[Problem to be Solved] To prevent light of a light-emitting unit that hits an occupant at the rear of a driver's seat from being received, and capture a clear image of the face of a driver.[Solution] A driver monitoring system 50 includes a transmitter 31, an imaging unit 33, and a driver monitoring device 30. The transmitter 31 transmits a sensing wave toward a driver's seat side of a vehicle. The imaging unit 33 includes a receiver 32 that receives reflected light waves reflected by the driver's seat side. The imaging unit 33 captures an image of a driver based on the reflected light waves received by the receiver 32. The driver monitoring device 30 monitors a state of the driver based on information from the imaging unit 33. An onboard device 20 is provided to an upper portion of an instrument panel 2 of the vehicle and the onboard device 20 includes a display unit 21 and an outer frame 22. The display unit 21 displays information. The outer frame 22 holds an outer periphery of the display unit 21. The receiver 32 is disposed on the driver's seat side of the outer frame 22. The transmitter 31 is disposed lower than the onboard device 20 and closer to an opposite side to the driver's seat side than the middle of the onboard device 20 in the vehicle width direction on the instrument panel 2.
