Folding rearview mirror for motor vehicles
DRIVE
November 26, 2014
It comprises a base member (105) fixed to a vehicle, a housing (110) with a rearview mirror (115), a motor component (120) to rotate the rearview housing (110) relative to the base (105), two sets of ramps (10, 20) independent of each other, capable of sliding on corresponding fixed ramps (11, 21) of the base element (105) and first and second resilient means (140, 150). The ramps of the first and second sets (10, 20) have different inclinations and the resilient means (140, 150) have different spring rates from one another, depending on whether the drive housing (110) is manually or motor driven.
