Device with two rigid conductor rails and a section isolator

The track separator for rigid current rails has conducting shoes connected to each current rail, a ramp, and an insulating shoe. The conducting shoes (7, 7') and the ramp (11, 11') are connected to one another at one end (10) and connected with their other ends to the current rail, whereby the latter-mentioned ends are arranged offset from one another in the longitudinal direction (3). The two current rails (1, 2) are rigidly and torsion-stiffly connected to one another by insulating profiles (5, 6). Insulating shoes (14, 14') are attached to the insulating profiles opposite to the respective conducting shoe, so that a current collector is guided correctly when passing by. An insulating gap exists between the ends of the conducting shoes (7, 7') and the ends of the nearest insulating shoe (14, 14').
