The present invention concerns a motorized sliding opening (2) intended to equip a vehicle, the motorized sliding opening (2) comprising an outer panel (6), an inner panel (8), at least one drive motor configured to allow motorized opening and/or closing of the motorized sliding opening (2) and a protective tray (10) in which is disposed at least one power supply cable (4), the power supply cable (4) being configured to allow electrical power supply to the at least one drive motor, the protective tray (10) being distinct from the inner panel (8) and secured to said inner panel (8).
