Exhaust gas turbocharger assembly

In order to avoid disturbing noises in a flap device (10), in particular a wastegate flap, in an exhaust turbocharger arrangement, a stop (28) for the flap device (10) is formed in a turbine housing (2) in which the controllable flap device (10) is arranged, against which the flap device (10) in a bypass state with the flap device (10) completely open comes to rest with a bearing surface (26). This prevents movement of the flap device (10) or parts thereof and thus prevents noises in the completely open bypass state. This completely open bypass state is typically assumed during cold starting to rapidly heat a catalytic converter. As a result, acoustic problems in this operating state are prevented.
