ENSURING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF BATTERIES

The invention claims a method for ensuring the operational readiness of a battery, in which the battery is first electrically connected to a test device, then tested with the test device to determine whether the battery is passivated. If the battery is passivated, a method for depassivating the battery is carried out. If the battery is not passivated, a time point for the next test of the battery is established.
