Furthermore, the battery (60) has a cover (30) which is configured to cover at least a portion of the surfaces of the battery cells (40) and to hermetically cover the venting elements (35) of the battery cells (40). According to the invention, the cover (30) has, respectively in the region of the venting elements (35), predetermined breaking points (10) assignable to the venting elements (35).
