The invention relates to a lifting device (2) for swap bodies (20) for a load transport vehicle (3), in particular on a roll-off tipper vehicle (3) or a hook-lift tipper vehicle, comprising at least one swivel arm (10) for unloading a swap body (20) from the load transport vehicle (3) or for loading a swap body (20) onto the load transport vehicle (3) and at least one hydraulic swivel drive cylinder (28) as a swivel drive means for the swivel arm (10), characterized in that the swivel drive cylinder (28) is designed as a double cylinder (28) which comprises two double-acting individual cylinders (70, 90), each having its own cylinder element (71, 91) and its own piston (72, 92), which are each extendable along a working stroke from the cylinder element (71, 91), wherein one of the individual cylinders (90) has a larger effective piston diameter than the other individual cylinder (70), and wherein the individual cylinders (70, 90) are connected to one another in the double cylinder (28) such that upon actuation of one or both individual cylinders (70, 90), their working strokes add to or subtract from a total working stroke of the double cylinder (28).
