PIVOTING AND SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM

Swing sliding door system (1) for a vehicle, comprising a door leaf (2) extending in a plane, which is movable from a closed position (3) to a release position (4) and vice versa by means of a swing mechanism, wherein the closed position and the release position are spaced apart from one another in a first direction (5), wherein the door leaf in the release position is displaceable parallel to a second direction (6) and wherein the swing mechanism comprises a pivot column (8) which extends along a third direction (7) and is rotatable about a first rotation axis (9) which is parallel to the third direction. According to the invention, it is provided that the swing mechanism further comprises a swing arm (10) and a drive system (25) for the swing arm (10), wherein the swing arm is rotatably supported on the pivot column about the same and is in operative connection with the door leaf via an end region (29) and wherein the drive system is provided for rotation of the swing arm about the pivot column in order to cause the movement of the door leaf from the closed position to the release position and vice versa.
