Tarpaulin heating

The invention relates to a tarpaulin heating system or a heatable tarpaulin for trucks, trailers or tent roofs and the like, which enables targeted heating of the roof area of the tarpaulin and thereby effective maintenance of a clear area free from ice and snow. For this purpose, a dimensionally stable tarpaulin (2) or covering is provided which, beneath a ceiling or ceiling surface (7) of the tarpaulin (2), has on the interior a heating hose arrangement with at least one heating hose (5), wherein parallel to the ceiling surface (7) of the tarpaulin (2) an intermediate roof (3) is provided which separates the heating hose (5) from the cargo area (11).
