An apparatus and a method of providing information in relation to a point of interest to a user

An apparatus and a method of informing a user of a POI (point of interest) having a boundary, the method comprising providing information relating to the POI, while the user is outside the boundary and, when the user is inside the boundary, providing information to the user relating to positions of sub POIs inside the boundary. Preferably, when the user is inside the boundary, no information relating to POIs outside the boundary is provided, and when the user is outside the boundary, no information relating to sub POIs is provided.
