Measuring prism

In a surveying prism with a prism housing (12) accommodating a prism element, which is pivotably supported in a holder about an axis directed parallel to the light entry surface of the prism element, the holder is designed as a base with a base plate (16) forming a support surface of the surveying prism (10) and two bearing flanges directed perpendicular thereto, between which the prism housing (12) is pivotably supported.
