"textContent": "The invention relates to a method for controlling an energy distribution system (14), which is designed such that it comprises a connection (16) to an alternating current supply system (18) as well as a plurality of predefined loads (26, 28, 30) with energy storage capability, which can be electrically connected as required to the alternating current supply system (18) by means of a respective switching device (20, 22, 24) within a common cycle period (64) for a respective activation period (48) and which are operated at their rated power in the event of connection. The method comprises the following steps: • Specifying an aggregate load limit value, • Optimizing the theoretically resulting aggregate load profile (74, 78, 92, 98, 102) within a cycle period (64, 94) by selecting the start (46) and duration (50) of respective activation periods (48) such that the maximum value (96, 100, 104) of the aggregate load profile (74, 78, 92, 98, 102) does not exceed the load limit value, whereby each load (26, 28, 30) is operated on average at its predefined power over the cycle period (64, 94), • if the optimization was not successful, then prioritizing the existing loads (26, 28, 30) and at least partial virtual load shedding of at least the lowest prioritized load and repeating the optimization excluding the shed load, • Repeating the last step until optimization is successful, • Activating the switching devices (20, 22, 24) of the non-shed loads over the duration of a cycle period (64, 94) in accordance with the start (46) and duration (50) of the determined activation periods (48).",
