The invention relates to a drive system with an internal combustion engine (1), an exhaust gas turbocharger (2) comprising a turbine (4) and a compressor (3) driven by the turbine, and with a turbogenerator (5), wherein the turbogenerator (5) is arranged in parallel with the turbine (4) of the exhaust gas turbocharger in the exhaust gas flow path (11) of the internal combustion engine.
