Valve for measuring fluid
DRIVE
October 15, 2014
A valve for metering pressurized fluid is provided, which comprises a valve housing (11) with an inlet opening (12) and a metering opening for the fluid, an outwardly opening valve needle (22) which is pressure-balanced by means of an elastic hollow body (23) exposed to fluid pressure, and an electromagnet (25) which lifts the valve needle (22) from the metering opening (13) against the force of a valve closing spring (24). To obtain an outwardly opening valve in a compact design that is simple in structure and can be manufactured cost-effectively, the valve housing (11) is composed of a valve tube (14) and a metering-side and an inlet-side valve body (15, 16), which are each connected in a fluid-tight manner to the valve tube (14) at the tube ends. From the electromagnet (25), the magnet pot (30) with the magnetic coil (29) contained therein is fixed externally on the valve tube (14), the magnetic core (31) is fixed internally on the valve tube (14) such that it encloses a needle section of the valve needle (22), and the valve closing spring (24) is designed as a compression spring which is arranged between the magnetic core (31) and the needle section enclosing it and is supported on the metering-side valve body (15) and on the magnetic armature (26).
