HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE CHILD RESTRAINT

A height-adjustable child restraint for use in a forward facing position, said child restraint comprising:a seat portion for holding a child and a base portion, wherein said base portion comprisesan upper frame member for connection with said seat portion and a lower frame member to be placed on a vehicle seat, wherein at least one front beam connects a front portion of said upper frame member to a front portion of said lower frame member, and at least one rear beam connects a rear portion of said upper frame member to a rear portion of said lower frame member such that a parallelogram is formed; andat least one guide plate connected to said lower frame member, wherein at least one of said upper frame member and said rear beam is movably connected to said guide plate for vertical movement of said upper frame member relative said guide plate.
