MOUNTING DEVICE FOR ATTACHMENT TO A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a holding device (1) for attachment to a motor vehicle, preferably to a motor vehicle front end (B). The holding device (1) comprises a support section (2), preferably two longitudinal members, for mounting to the motor vehicle and a holding section (3) for holding a functional element (S), in particular a sensor device, and for positioning adjacent to an outlet opening (A) for a fastening device (10) for a spare wheel (R) for the motor vehicle. The holding section (3) is pivotable about a pivot axis (4) from a first state in which it at least partially closes the outlet opening (A) to a second state in which it releases the outlet opening (A) such that the spare wheel (R) can be removed.
