The invention relates to a gas turbine power plant (1), comprising a gas turbine (10) having a compressor (11), a combustion chamber (12), and an expander (13), as well as a water storage tank (20) at least partially filled with water, which is fluidically connected to the gas turbine (10) via a supply line (15) in such a manner that water from the water storage tank (20) can be supplied to the gas turbine (10) to increase the mass flow, wherein the water storage tank (20) and/or the supply line (15) is thermally connected to a heat storage device (30), which heat storage device (30) can be supplied with heat by means of an electrically operated heat supply device (40).
