Surface determination for objects using precise geodesic point determination and scanning
DRIVE
October 8, 2014
Method for surveying an object for and with a geodetic surveying instrument, with a deriving of surface information at least for an object area, at least one geodetically precise individual point determination for the object area, wherein a position of at least one object point is determined geodetically precisely, and an updating of the surface information based on the determined position of the at least one object point. A scanning for deriving the surface information takes place with an object point independent sampling of the object area through continuous reorientation of the measurement radiation, with a determining of a respective distance and of a respective orientation of the measurement radiation emitted for distance measurement for scan points located within the object area, in particular in a predetermined scan point resolution, and with a generating of a point cloud representing the surface information and having the scan points.
