The controller is configured to capture an input signal sequence via at least one factory input device in the vehicle, determine whether the input signal sequence corresponds to the defined sequence, capture an input control signal via at least one factory input device in the vehicle, and in response to determining the input signal sequence corresponds to the defined sequence, modify the operating variable based on the input control signal.
