The turbocharger 1 includes a waste gate valve 30 which is connected to the shaft member 40 rotatably supported by penetrating a support hole 24 of the turbine housing 20. The waste gate valve 30 includes an inclined surface 31 formed at a portion facing an opening 23 of a bypass passage 22. When the waste gate valve 30 is opened, exhaust gas X flown into the bypass passage 22 presses the inclined surface 31, thrust force S1 is applied to the shaft member 40 in a shaft direction, and a seal contact portion 52 is pressed against a peripheral edge 62 of the support hole 24 via a seal member 70.",
