The assembly (100) has a set of seats (20a, 20b, 21a, 21b), where each seat is convertible individually by a relative movement of a seat cushion and a seat back between sitting and recumbent configurations. The seat cushion and the seat back are placed in a horizontal plane to form a part of a plane i.e. aircraft. The seats of a set of blocks (10a, 10b) are arranged along a diagonal (105) of a circumscribed rectangle (101). A set of longitudinal axes (211a, 211b) of the seats are close in terms of direction with regard to a diagonal direction, and the seats are placed face to face.
