Automatic cycle-storage system and battery for such a system

The system has a fixed infrastructure including locking posts (7) for locking electric cycles (1), and external control device (2) for selective locking and unlocking of the cycles. Each cycle includes a removable battery (9) with an external electric connector. Each cycle includes an electric connector (9a) to connect the external electric connector of the battery. The battery includes a switching device to selectively switch between connection and disconnection states of the external electric connector, and a logic unit to control the switching device based on battery control information.
