A protection apparatus (100) for a battery pack (200) includes a conduction portion (110) including a pad portion (111), and a connection portion (112) outside of the pad portion (111) and electrically coupled to the pad portion (111); and an insulation portion (120) covering at least a portion of the conduction portion (110), wherein the pad portion (111) and the connection portion (112) are coplanar. A battery pack (200) comprising said protection apparatus (100) and a method for manufacturing said protection apparatus (100) are also disclosed.
