Electric traction vehicle comprising an assembly with controlled humidity for supplying or controlling an electrical device of the vehicle, and corresponding method

The vehicle e.g. railway vehicle (1), has a powering or controlling assembly (11) including high voltage electrical appliances (17) for powering or controlling an electrical device (9). An enclosure (15) is formed non-sealed with ambient air (25), contains the appliances, and defines an internal volume (21) filled with internal air. The assembly includes a dehumidifier (19) for producing an air flow (33) less wet than the ambient air, where the air flow emerges into volume. The dehumidifier includes a compressed air unit (20) to produce a compressed air flow (27) from the ambient air. The electrical device is an electrical motor. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying power or controlling an electrical device of an electric traction vehicle.
