The device (1) has a plate-shaped base carrier (5) for supporting a towing clutch on an outer side, and fastening devices arranged on the base carrier. The fastening devices are fastened to side surfaces of the base carrier in a force-fit manner based on the towing clutch, and comprise bifurcated fastening elements (11) extending over an inner side of the base carrier. The fastening elements are connected with towing units (3, 4) of a vehicle (2) in a form-fit or force-fit manner over intermediate pieces. One of the fastening devices has a flange plate (10) connected the base carrier.
