Device and method for securing movable objects

The device has a safety device (2) attached to a movable object (1), an external data communication device (3) and a data administration device (4). The safety device comprises a sensor (15) and a writable and readable memory (16). The communication device has a camera (13) and a RFID reading and writing device (14). The sensor is designed as a position sensor or temperature sensor, and detects condition data of the safety device and the surrounding, where the checking of characteristics of the object with identification characteristic is carried out in the administration device. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing a movable object.
