Device for fixing a windshield wiper assembly

The device has a fastening element (16) and a spring strut dome (5), where a wiper system (3) is fastened to a coupling section (6) of the spring strut dome by the fastening element. The fastening element is only connected with the spring strut dome and with the wiper system. The fastening element is welded to the coupling section of the spring strut dome. The spring strut dome has a central dome opening in the coupling section.
