Systems and methods for use in adapting the operation of a gas turbine

A control system (200) for use in adapting the operation of a gas turbine is provided. The control system (200) is configured to be coupled to at least one component of the gas turbine. The gas turbine is coupled to a power grid having a standardized frequency. The control system (200) includes a processor (215) and a memory (210) coupled to the processor (215). The memory (210) includes processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor (215), cause the control system (200) to store a status of the at least one component of the gas turbine and generate and store a first operating setting for the at least one component. The first operating setting corresponds to a first frequency of the power grid that is less than the standardized frequency.
