Method and system for navigation of vehicles (100, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 460) with at least one first vehicle (410) and one second vehicle (420), comprising the steps: - transmitting a first current position (X1) of the first vehicle (410) from the first vehicle (410) to a server (300), - transmitting a second current position (X2) of the second vehicle (420) from the second vehicle (420) to the server (300), - determining a first route (R1) and a second route (R2) by means of the server (300), wherein the first route (R1) is determined from the first current position (X1) to a first final destination (F1) of the first vehicle (410), wherein the second route (R2) is determined from the second current position (X2) to a second final destination (F2) of the second vehicle (420), wherein a location (C) connects the first route (R1) and the second route (R2), particularly as a stop over e.g. for a passenger (201) to change from first vehicle (410) to the second vehicle (420), wherein the location (C) is included in the first route (R1) and in the second route (R2), - transmitting the first route (R1) to the first vehicle (410), and - transmitting the second route (R2) to the second vehicle (420).
