Electric hydraulic unit for steering leading or trailing axles

The axle assembly (1) has two steerable axles (10,20) and an electric hydraulic aggregate (30) for steering the latter axle. The operating performance of the hydraulic aggregate is changed in response to a steering angle adjustment between a steering angle for the former axle and a steering angle for the latter axle. The hydraulic aggregate is directly mounted on the latter axle or is arranged adjacent to the latter axle. An independent claim is included for a steering method for an axle assembly.
