Circuit for controlling an acceleration, braking and steering system of a vehicle

The circuit has separate motors (12, 13) that are provided for actuation of the acceleration and deceleration system. The separate motors (14, 15) are provided for actuation of the steering system. An electronic control unit (10) is provided for driving the motors. The control unit is provided with three identical CPUs and a programmable logic device (11). Each CPU is provided to generate and to transmit the control signals to the programmable logic device in response to the input control signals (16, 17) as well as sensor signals from the motors. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling acceleration and deceleration system, and steering system of vehicle.
