The pumping device (1) has the flush inlet (6) that is flow-connected with the flushing line (5). A closing element (2) is made of a first material with a different coefficient of thermal expansion than a second material, and in which the flush inlet is formed. The closing element is configured and arranged on the flush inlet which is locked through the closing element dependence on the temperature. An independent claim is included for a method for cleaning pumping device.
