A safe, aerodynamic and ecologically benign enclosed vehicle

This device is a vehicle which normally has more rows of seats than a typical car, van or truck. However, it is so thin that it only has room for one person per row. Because such a vehicle is about half as wide as other vehicles, it reduces wind drag by almost half. For an ultra-thin enclosed vehicle of this type to maintain stability during turns, the two front wheels must be spaced so widely apart that they will be beyond the perimeter of the occupant and cargo compartment. In addition to these advantages for a car with an internal combustion engine or an electric motor, such an ultra-thin vehicle makes it possible to easily support an expandable solar array which extends to the width of a typical parking space when it is parked but generally contracts to being almost as thin as the width of the vehicle when it is being driven.
