Drive unit for a motor vehicle with a hydrostatic auxiliary drive, vehicle with such a drive unit and method of operating the same

The vehicle drive has a main drive for the vehicle, particularly with an internal combustion engine and hydrostatic auxiliary drives (3,4) for the vehicle. A control unit (IV) of the hydrostatic auxiliary drives is automatically controlled or adjusted depending on the operating parameter. The main drive drives a main drive axis (II) of the vehicle. The hydrostatic auxiliary drives drive an auxiliary drive axle of the vehicle. An independent claim is included for a method of operating a vehicle drive.
