Electrically rotational adjusting unit, especially for indirect visual systems for vehicles

The electrically rotating adjusting unit has a base part (1), a rotary part (3) which is axially rotatably mounted and an electric rotary drive (7) connected with the base part. The rotary drive is coupled with the rotary part to rotate the rotary part in electromotive manner. A coupling device is provided between base part and the rotary part. The coupling device decouples base part and the rotary part from each other upon activation of the electric rotary drive and couples the rotary drive with the rotary part.
