Headlight

The headlight has a dimensionally stable, box-shaped housing with a light-emitting unit and a transparent front plate (6). The holders are provided for connecting the housing to the vehicle structure. A crash guard is provided with a strip-shaped bending-sensitive region having a reduced wall thickness in wall of the housing and runs partially transverse to the direction of the crash guard. A breaking element is provided in the location of the bending sensitive region supported against the vehicle structure.
