Axle unit for a commercial vehicle

The unit (1) has an axial body (2), and a longitudinal control arm (3) aligned transverse to the axial body. A clamping element (7) is clamped against the control arm, and holds the axial body at the control arm. A shell element (9) is arranged between the clamping element and the axial body, where the clamping element acts on the axial body over the shell element. Narrow sides of the shell element are supported at the control arm, where the narrow sides are turned towards the control arm. The shell element is designed as a cylinder half shell.
