Trim element including a decorative element at least partially surrounded by a film of plastic material and its manufacturing process

The element (1) has a decoration element (6) comprising an external face forming part of a visible face and an internal face of the element. The decoration element is arranged on a plastic material film (4). The film includes a back zone (16) that is extended on the internal face of the decoration element. The plastic material film is partially arranged on a substrate, and comprises a peripheral zone (18) that is extended around a part of the decoration element and forms another part of the visible face of the trim element. The decorative element is made of timber material (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for realizing a trim element.
